About the Beach
What is Praia Redonda Beach?
It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Póvoa de Varzim.
Praia Redonda Beach is frequented essentially by families and is integrated in full sea front of Póvoa de Varzim city. It is bounded north by a rock formation, the only exception in a sand clean from rocks.
The exploitation of beach barracks occupies a large portion of the sandy area.
Café Guarda Sol, a well known "Francesinhas" (a typical sandwich of coastal northern Portugal) restaurant, delights both locals and tourists.
The access is done by exiting Estrada Nacional 131 into Avenida Mouzinho de Albuquerque1, following afterwards to Avenida dos Banhos2.
