About the Beach

What is Praia do Golden Beach?

It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Tavira.

Praia do Golden Beach is located at 1 in the eastern side of 2 (a valley eroded by rivers and with sandy islands which is flooded by the sea, turning the water into brackish). The name comes from the Golden Club Cabanas urbanization built in the opposite side of the beach.
The sand is very long, of about 1,4 Km.
In the northwest, the beach is bounded by the 3 mouth.
Transportation service made by boat is exclusively guaranteed by Golden Club Cabanas. However, it's possible to rent a private transportation service available by the several recreational crafts, very common in this area. Yet, once in the island one can walk along the nearby sands.
