About the Beach
What is Praia das Belharucas Beach?
It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Albufeira.
Praia das Belharucas Beach - integrated in Praia da Falésia Beach - acquired its name for being the nesting spot for a bird specie called Abelharuco.
Its is also known as Praia do Barranco das Belharucas Beach. It presents a very broad sand and usually calm sea waters.
The orange cliff, very high in this area, can get ut to 40 meters on the highest points.
Access is via a dirt road through the pinewood. There are few places for car parking.
