About the Beach
What is Praia da Rocha Baixinha (Nascente) Beach?
It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Albufeira.
Praia da Rocha Baixinha (East) Beach has a very extensive sand, part of the east side of Praia da Falésia Beach.
The dunes are protected by wooden walkways.
At east, it's possible to sight the west pier of Marina de Vilamoura1 entrance where the Ribeira de Quarteira2 empties, right after the imaginary line that separates Beach Unit 2 and 1 of Albufeira and Loulé counties, respectively.
Car parking area is huge and provides an access to the beach by a pedestrian bridge.
This beach and its east neighboring one hold the peculiarity of being easily identifiable by the red numbers on each beach support facility, organized by the following order:
