It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Figueira da Foz.

Praia de Buarcos Beach is situated in the sea front of city. This is the most northern beach of the broadest urban sand of Portugal, known as Praia da Claridade Beach.
A wide and long sand is bounded south by the Ribeira da Várzea1.
Beside Avenida Infante Dom Pedro2 arise the 3 walls.
The nightlife in the vicinity during summer is one of the dominant features.
