It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Cascais.

Praia da Duquesa Beach, also known as Praia de Cascais Beach, is located between the and the 1. This last one belonged to Duquesa de Palmela2 who used it for vacations during summer season. This fact gave origin to the beach name.
The sand of medium size unifies with its neighbor beach at west except during some high tide peaks.
The western end of the 3 is situated at this spot.
