About the Beach

What is Praia de Marinhas Beach?

It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Esposende.

Praia de Marinhas Beach displays a very long stretch of sand, mixing with pebbles and stones. To the east, it is flanked by heterogeneous land containing from forest, rich in flora and fauna, to dune and farmland. There is also a group of dwellings from where comes to the beach a small channel stormwater runoff into the ocean.
Access is granted by exiting Estrada Nacional 131 towards west, along Rua de Cepães2 until Rua da Robaleira3. The main passage to sand is done by a pedestrian wooden walkway on south side.
