About the Beach

What is Praia da Barrinha Beach?

It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Faro.

Praia da Barrinha (Mar) Beach is located in a sandy island called Ilha da Barreta1.
It presents a very large sand of about 2,5 Km. At west, it extends through a thin sand tip bounded by Barrinha de São Luís2. In the east, sand becomes wider and the vegetation at dune more overgrown.
At north, the idyllic scenario from 3 awaits for the bathers.
