About the Beach

What is Praia de Faro (Este) Beach?

It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Faro.

Praia de Faro (East) Beach owns a very long sand of about 1,6 Km, located in the eastern end of Península do Ancão1 known as Ilha de Faro2, at 3 (a valley eroded by rivers and with sandy islands which is flooded by the sea, turning the water into brackish).
Bathing area is east bounded by Barrinha de São Luís4.
This beach is far more distant than the western one, becoming the perfect place for those who wish to connect with the Ria landscape, plentiful in fauna and flora.
