It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Grândola.

Praia Atlântica Beach, also known as Praia de Soltróia Beach, has a very long sand of about 4,8 Km. It's north bounded by the old Parque de Campismo de Tróia1.
The central area is located in front of the well known touristic resort.
Those who prefer more tranquility can have it by walking to north or south, where the forest and vast dunes await them.
To northeast there's a set of ruins called Ruínas de Tróia2, a place that holds the largest salting fish factory in the world from the roman period.
