It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Lourinhã.

Praia da Peralta Beach, also known as Praia da Atalaia Beach, owns a very long sand of about 1,2 Km.
This coast line became notorious because a farmer found here the bones of a new dinosaur species called , in the year of 1982.
The cliff length along the beach is only interrupted by the dirt open area utilized for car parking.
The access is done via , following westward towards the sea and passing by Montoito village.
