It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Matosinhos.

Praia da Memória Beach was stage for history due to the landing of in 1832, followed by 7500 men to defeat his brother during the 1 between liberals and absolutists.
This beach, also known as Praia dos Ladrões Beach, has a wide dune system which got reduced in the north part because of the construction of a generous car parking.
