About the Beach

What is Praia dos Penedos Beach?

It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Sesimbra.

Praia dos Penedos Beach has a ground made of pebbles and rocks. It's located in a cove with steep scarps and very small areas sandy. This beach is mainly frequented by fishermen already familiar with the extreme difficult trails on the cliff.
At west there's a cave and a stairway easing the hard way down for those who attempt it.
It's strongly recommended to access the beach by sea.
