About the Beach

What is Praia da Vigia Beach?

It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Sintra.

Praia da Vigia Beach also known as Praia de Vide Beach, has a very extensive stretch of sand with about 1,4 Km. While heading north, the strip of sand gets narrower. Far away, one may sight town.
At the center area, on the cliff top, lies an open wide area beside the trail that descends to the sand. However, the safer access is done by walking the sand of the north neighbor beach, during the low tide peak.
