About the Beach

What is Praia do Giribeto Beach?

It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Sintra.

Praia do Giribeto Beach or Praia de Gerebete Beach, presents a sand of small dimensions at the bottom of a cliff. There's a string of pebbles flanking the sand in this rough sea beach.
The access is done via a dirt path by the villages of Assafora and Magoito that ends in a high difficulty trail on the cliff top, towards the sand. It's advisable to access the beach by sea.
This beach is usually attended by fishermen.
