It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Sintra.

Praia Grande do Rodízio Beach has a very extensive and wide sand.
At the south cliff, beside the area known as Praia da Lagoa Beach, there are fossilized footprints of Iguanodon and Megalosaurus species, dated from the lower Cretaceous period.
Further north is located Hotel Arribas and its open air swimming pool.
The sea fauna is abundant.
This beach is where surf and bodyboard international championship events take place.
