About the Beach
What is Praia da Samarra Beach?
It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Sintra.
Praia da Samarra Beach is situated in a narrow cove facing northwest, formed by a sharp indentation in the cliff.
The sand, although little extensive, has a reasonable amplitude.
Near the seaside, where exist numerous rolled stones, there's the Ribeira da Samarra1 mouth.
In this valley there's a large diversity of fauna and flora.
A house with stone walls on the way down to the beach gives a gives a touch of rustic urbanism to the landscape.
