About the Beach

What is Praia da Baleeira Beach?

It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Vila do Bispo.

Praia da Baleeira Beach presents a small sized sand located in a wide bay.
The north area is less pleasant for bathing due to the high concentration of pebbles.
At south the beach is bounded by one of the piers of Porto da Baleeira1.
About 1 Km into the sea, may be seen the Ilhéus do Martinhal2.
Access is achieved by crossing the port facilities.
In the beach surroundings one finds the ruins of the 3.
