It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Vila do Bispo.

Praia das Cabanas Velhas Beach, also known as Praia dos Cabanos Beach, has a very long sand.
There are lots of pebbles and small rocks near the cliff. On top of the west cliff stands the 1, built in 1632.
At east, longing the cliff, lies a pier used by fishermen.
The access is by a dirt road of almost half kilometer long to southeast of Barrancão village.
