About the Beach

What is Praia da Murração Beach?

It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Vila do Bispo.

Praia da Murração Beach has an extensive and very wide sand. It's located in a valley, surrounded by green cliffs full of autochthonous vegetation.
The central area is preferred for bathing due to the existence of several immersed rocks at the ends of the beach. The Ribeira do Barranco da Murração1 empties here.
The access is through a long dirt road coming from Estrada Nacional 2682.
