It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Lagos.

Praia da Luz Beach is located in the front sea of town. It holds a very long sand of about 1 Km. The Ribeira da Luz1 empties in here.
At the western end of the beach a 300 meters long slab that covers the entire foot of the cliff. On its top, lies the 3 and the Capela-mor da Igreja da Luz3. Still in this area, may be seen the 4.
