About the Beach
What is Praia do Camilo Beach?
It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Lagos.
Praia do Camilo Beach acquired its name for having a restaurant named O Camilo on top of the cliff. Its sand is divided into two split sands of small sizes.
During low tide and if one's willing to get wet, it is possible to visit the northern sand and relax in its calm waters.
From here can be seen three islets near the shore.
The access goes through a long stairway with the shape of an "L" coming from the restaurant.
