About the Beach
What is Praia Azul Beach?
It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Torres Vedras.
Praia Azul Beach presents a very long sand of about 1,1 Km.
At north, on top of the cliff, the houses mingle with dune land. Upon arriving at the center and south areas, a beautiful dune system claims the landscape, ending on the Rio Sizandro1 margins.
The beach is very much sought by surfing enthusiasts.
Access is done by Estrada Nacional 2472, exiting towards west at Boavista village.
