About the Beach
What is Praia do Guincho Beach?
It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Torres Vedras.
Praia do Guincho Beach, belonging to Praia de Santa Cruz Beach, has a medium sized sand situated in the south sea front of Santa Cruz locality.
At south, there are rock formations both on the water line like immersed.
On top of the cliff named Riba Amarela is erected a viewpoint.
The Penedo do Guincho is a natural attraction highlighted on landscape because of its dimensions. For this fact, this shoreline is also known as Praia do Penedo do Guincho Beach.
This area is much appreciated due to the many bars located in its surroundings that animate nightlife.
