About the Beach
What is Praia do Mirante Beach?
It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Torres Vedras.
Praia do Mirante Beach belongs to Praia de Santa Cruz Beach and has an extensive and wide sand. It acquired this name because of the Miradouro do Mirante1, situated on top of the cliff.
The high looking-for this spot is done by water sports fans, mainly surfers.
Like the nearby beach to the north, the infrastructures for parking on the cliff top are adequate to the vast demand characteristic of summer peak.
