About the Beach

What is Praia da Baía de Porto Covo Beach?

It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Sines.

Praia da Baía de Porto Covo Beach is located in the south area of village. It presents a very reduced sand whose dimensions vary noticeably depending on tidal periods. The bay where the beach is situated, has a narrow width and delves into inland for more than 300 meters. At the eastern end, beside the trees, empties a small stream. This beach is used has an harbor for small fishing vessels.
