About the Beach

What is Praia da Navalheira Beach?

It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Sines.

Praia da Navalheira Beach presents a thin and very extensive strip of sand. Due to the amount of rocky formations there are several split sandy areas along the beach. By the entrance of the beach, the sand is larger.
The beach is very popular among scuba divers and underwater fishermen.
The access is granted by the north neighboring beach or by a dirt road that exits Estrada Municipal 11091.
