About the Beach

What is Praia de Porto Covinho Beach?

It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Sines.

Praia de Porto Covinho Beach has a small sized sand with the shape of a seashell, located at the bottom of a cliff. Its area considerably increases during low tide, proving access to the south neighboring beach.
The scarps flanking the bathing area and provide protection from winds.
The access is done by a stairway on the north cliff.
