About the Beach

What is Praia do Lago Beach?

It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Sines.

Praia do Lago Beach presents a very long sand, located in the industrial zone to the north of city. There's also a dune system along its full length. It is south bounded by the Ribeira dos Moinhos1 mouth.
This spot is also known as Cova do Lago2 for formerly having paddies.
The access is done by a dirt road following to west, heading the sea direction, immediately north of Ribeira de Moinhos village.
