About the Beach

What is Praia dos Buizinhos Beach?

It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Sines.

Praia dos Buizinhos Beach acquired this name for having several seashells, mainly whelks, in its sand.
The beach is located in the south end of urban sea front. It's situated in a facing south cove.
The small sized and seashell shaped sand stays nearly all immersed during high tide. On top of the cliff there's a gazebo.
The access is via a stairway at the western end.
