About the Beach
What is Praia do Sul Beach?
It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Mafra.
Praia do Sul Beach is also known as Praia da Baleia Beach due to here have stranded a cetacean in 1872. It's situated in a bay at the sea front of Ericeira town.
In the north area there's a pool whose protections were carved by natural rocks.
At the center there's a pier splitting the sand into two and further south there is another one.
On the cliff top exist two support parking lots.
This beach is sheltered from winds coming from all directions, except west.
