About the Beach
What is Praia dos Pescadores Beach?
It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Mafra.
Praia dos Pescadores Beach also known as Praia da Ribeira Beach, has a wide sand with medium extension and located in the interior of Ericeira's safe haven.
On top of the cliff the Muro das Ribas1 delights the vision of those who pass through there.
It was from this place that the royal family left to exile in the Day of the Establishment of the Portuguese Republic on .
In the Nossa Senhora da Boa Viagem traditional fests, boats enter the sea with lit up torches, providing a beautiful visual spectacle.
