It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Vila do Conde.

Praia de Vila Chã Beach presents an extensive sand where empties the Ribeira das Gatas.
There's a, immersed rocky string, extending along the whole beach and contiguous to the north neighbor beach.
Passages to the bathing area between rocks are small, hence it's advised caution to those who know poorly the ground.
To the north is common to find fishing vessels.
Access is achieved by Rua da Praia1 or through Avenida dos Banhos2.
