It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Vila do Conde.

Praia Atlântica Beach has a sand of small dimensions, chopped by two rock formations at seaside. It is inserted in the urban perimeter of city.
To the north, the beach is bounded by the well known catering establishment Restaurante Caximar1, built on the sand.
The car parking is extensive and goes along Avenida do Brasil2.
Access is done by Estrada Nacional 133, turning on the roundabout with Galp gas station to Avenida Júlio Saúl Dias4, following it until the end.
