It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Vila do Conde.

Praia de Mindelo Beach is situated in a small cove and hence, is sheltered from the traditional north winds. It is characterized for having a reduced dimensions sand and lots of rock formations.
The beach is bounded north by a rock formation which marks the south border of the 1.

The best place for bathing lies in the south part of the beach. Access is achieved via Rua da Praia2, Rua do Norte3 or by Rua da Gafa3.
