It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Vila Nova de Gaia.

Praia da Aguda Beach displays an extensive sand, belonging to the sea front o a place called Aguda.
A dune system located north is part of the 1.
Further south there's a pier parallel to seaside which protects small sea vessels of this fishing community, the Portinho da Aguda2.
During low tide a large puddle is formed to delight children.
