It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Vila Nova de Gaia.

Praia da Sereia da Costa Verde Beach, also known as Praia de Canidelo (North), belongs to the sea front of a place called Salgueiros. It has an extensive and very wide sand, north bounded by a group of boulders with large dimensions.
Wooden walkways protect the dune string, contiguous to the sand along its whole length. In addition, were added fences to increase the protection level of the dunes and their vegetation.
The access is done via Avenida Beira Mar1 or by Rua das Chieiras2.
