It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Vila Nova de Gaia.

Praia de Dunas Mar Beach has a little extensive sand whose access is done by three walkways.
There are immersed rocks in the bathing area that get exposed during low tide.
The dune system is wide, allowing bathers to have nearly 80 meters between them and sea side road, enjoying the consequent calmness.
Wooden fences protect the dunes governing the landscape of this coast.
