About the Beach
What is Praia de Bocamar Beach?
It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Vila Nova de Gaia.
Praia de Bocamar Beach has a very long sand that prolongs since the bicycle lane to the north until the Ribeira do Prego1 to the south. Here, there's a wide dune system.
The north and center parts of the beach display a rocky string, stretching along the water line. Further south, to bath is more pleasant due to the absence of rocks.
A generous car parking provides support to bathers.
