About the Beach
What is Praia das Fontainhas Beach?
It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Lagoa.
Praia das Fontainhas Beach presents a small sand with the shape of a seashell.
It's located in a narrow cove flanked by the two cliff's opposite ends which seem to have been sawn by human hands because of their geometrical appearance.
Sea waters are calm and limpid.
The way down to the beach is guaranteed by a dirt trail through the cliff.
