About the Beach

What is Praia do Barranco (Este) Beach?

It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Lagoa.

Praia do Barranco (East) Beach is located into a very small nook of a cliff. Since the sand is almost nonexistent the beach is full of pebbles and cobbles that get greenish due to the contact with sea water during high tide periods.
A small cave in the bottom of the cliff highlights this a bit uninviting for bathing beach.
Access is made by the nearby beach at west.
