About the Beach

What is Praia Nova Beach?

It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Lagoa.

Praia Nova Beach has a long strip of sand divided into two by rock formations coming from landslides. Sometimes, it is possible to sight seaweed on the sand.
On the promontory at west stands the 1.
The access is via a stairway inside a recess of the cliff at the center of the beach.
