About the Beach
What is Praia dos Tremoços Beach?
It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Lagoa.
Praia dos Tremoços Beach, also known as Praia do Vila Vita Beach, presents a medium sized stretch of sand.
Once severely eroded and almost out of sand, this beach began to be recovered and rebuilt with the help of a pier of about 70 meters long, at the western end and artificial sand feeding.
On top of the cliff, Vila Vita Parc provides special access to the beach. Otherwise one'll have to take the stairway at the west side.
