It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Aljezur.

Praia da Arrifana Beach as a very extensive sand followed by a string of pebbles. It's located in a pronounced bay that is surrounded by cliffs.
On top of the north cliff lies the well known Ponta da Atalaia, place where one finds ruins of the 1 and the 2.
At south may and a few distance from the scarp, can be sighted an islet known as Pedra da Agulha.
This is one of the beaches that offers the best conditions for surfing, during the entire year.
