About the Beach
What is Praia do Vale dos Homens Beach?
It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Aljezur.
Praia do Vale dos Homens Beach has a very long sand that gets reduced to a thin strip during high tide. The waters are rough.
A small stream of fresh water empties at south. Here, exists a cluster of pebbles and rocks.
The schistose cliffs embellish the landscape.
Access is achieved while heading west from Rogil village to the beach. A long wooden stairway descends to the bathing area.
