About the Beach
What is Praia do Amado Beach?
It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Aljezur.
Praia do Amado Beach has a wide and very extensive sand of about 1,2 Km.
The structure of the north cliff that enters 400 meters into the sea, serves as a natural protection.
At this site, empty the Ribeira do Barranco do Lavadouro1 and the Ribeira do Barranco de Vale Figueira2.
This is one of the most attended beaches of the Parque Natural do Sudoeste Alentejano e Costa Vicentina3.
