About the Beach

What is Praia do Guincho Beach?

It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Aljezur.

Praia do Guincho Beach is located in a cove. It has an heterogeneous composition: the central area is made of pebbles and the south one is full of rocks from landslides.
The cliff top is filled with cultivation fields from agricultural explorations.
This is a less pleasant beach for bathing. The access is done by a trail through a ravine at the central area.
