About the Beach

What is Praia de Miras Beach?

It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Peniche.

Praia de Miras Beach, also known as Praia do Porto Grande Beach has a sand of reduced dimensions, all surrounded by blackened rock formations.
While the sea is calm, bathing area holds many rocks on its bottom, counseling caution to those who wish to spend some time here.
On top of the cliff there are many agricultural fields.
Access from the rocky cliff top into the bathing area is unfeasable. It is recommended accessing the beach via sea.
