About the Beach
What is Praia dos Supertubos Beach?
It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Peniche.
Praia dos Supertubos Beach, integrated in Praia do Medão Beach, has a very long sand.
To the east one may enjoy the view over the magnificent dune system extending until where eyes can reach.
This is a very famous beach for its waves, hence, always very searched for surfing. Here, took place one stage of World Cup of Surfing (WCT) Rip Curl Pro Search 2009.
Access is available through Itinerário Principal 61, turning left on the roundabout.
