About the Beach
What is Praia das Cebolas Beach?
It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Peniche.
Praia das Cebolas Beach - belonging to Praia do Baleal (South) Beach - displays a reduced dimensions sand, situated east of the dune system, in the beginning of Península do Baleal1.
A few meters to west, the entrance to bathing area is located in a small opening between rocky formations.
This beach is attended by those who are in need of privacy without having to travel great distances from Peniche.
The access is granted through Casais do Baleal village.
